Overview

APEX is currently accepting applications for Production Line Workers within its Steel Door Manufacturing Group. This is a full-time permanent position reporting to the Production Supervisor.

We are hiring for Day, Evening, and Weekend shifts. If you enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and take pride in producing quality products, we would like to hear from you.


Responsibilities

As a Production Line Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Grinding and priming steel doors and frames in preparation for finishing.
  • Performing tack and spot welding on doors, frames, and component parts.
  • Packaging finished products and loading materials onto trailers for shipment.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Identifying and communicating production or quality improvement opportunities to the Production Supervisor.
  • Following all company safety policies, quality standards, and production procedures.
  • Performing other production-related duties as assigned.
  • Safely performing physically demanding work, including standing for extended periods, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous manufacturing, industrial, or construction experience is considered an asset.
  • Ability to read and work with imperial and metric measurements.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Self motivated with a willingness to stick to tasks that may be repetitive in nature
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to producing high-quality work.
